Vintage Wax Headbands’ founder, Julia, first started making vintage style wax headpieces when her daughter was married in the summer of 2015. She now creates various vintage style headpieces in her Hampshire studio. Entirely handmade and completely original, each piece consists of wax flower buds and beads. The flower buds are individually and painstakingly made from wax and the flower blooms from clay. These are bound together with decorative beads and arranged on either white or coloured silk covered bands to form delicate headpieces.
Ready to wear pieces are available to purchase or bespoke pieces can be made on request.
Prices begin at £50 for combs and £130 for headbands. Each item is priced individually. Prices do not include postage and packaging.
